So much going on outside my window that sometimes I just want to just shut the blinds and pretend I'm not home. Then I remember the longer I leave my blinds shut the harder it is going to be to make a difference.

Hidden behind all that I let show, is the passionate desire to be great at something.

On the few occasions when I have allowed my desire to surface,usually around the new year, I think of the commitment and labor involved and quickly stuff it back in it's hiding place. Someday I will get it out for good. But not today.
