Strolling into another phase

Ok maybe because I just celebrated another one of those getting older days, or maybe it's just that time of year, but I have been doing some reflecting and projecting.  I have come to the conclusion that my past is my past, it is what it is. But my future, ahhh well now that is a different story.  I'm going to walk down that path with the ones I love, wrapping my arms around all that is in store for me.  Join me won't you

happy.

"My life with this nut case family is a living nightmare!!!!!"

Take a wild guess who might be saying that to herself at that very minute.  Clue: she's wearing a white Tshirt and her tongue is no where to be seen.

We had to put the fun back on the shelf.

At least for now we have to grab our big girl cup and be an adult.  For now, until the fun comes over to stay again.

Birthday Celebration

Don't you want to celebrate the day you were put on this earth? Rachel asked.  No, not really I said,  I had no choice in that day.  The day I would celebrate, if I celebrated any occasion at all, is the day I really started living my life.  That's the day that my dark skies turned blue.  That's when the sun came into my life and I will never forget it because my life changed forever.  Do I still have dark clouds and grey skies?  You bet I do, but the thing I have come to realize is that the sun is stronger that any cloud and it will always shine its light through them.  Because of that I can have hope and peace.  And  that is worth celebrating.

Uh-Oh someone is getting the back turn.

I'm wondering what HE did, to make HER mad enough, to turn HER back on him.  They just never get it do they?

St. Raphael Rebels

8 years of Catholic School, 8 years of hearing, " why can't you be more like your sisters".  At least Gene didn't have such a hard act to follow, all he kept hearing was "I hope you're not like your sister".  You can thank me at any time, Gene.

23 years of memories

The memories compliments of two good parents who loved each other and did the best they could with the lives of the six kids given to them.  We are the Gorczycza's and this was the backdrop of our story.
