I DON'T WANT TO!!
We all have to do things we don't want to do some times. How many time in life I have figuratively illustrated my desires with this face.

Who's your fixer?
Nobody wants to be broken, but it is inevitable for all. Just be mindful of the fact that there is always good that comes from being broken. Search for the good, it's there waiting to help you heal.

treasure your uniqueness
We were all made to be an original, no one else the same. To me, that is what makes up the beauty of this tapestry in which we live.

simple
It's plain and simple, you don't need fancy gadgets and expensive toys. You just need time, that's all they want. Well maybe hot chocolate and a santa cookie too.

A star lesson
Lie on your back and look at them as much as you can. It is amazing what thoughts come to mind.

waaaaait, not yet
Nothing brings more agony than having the most exciting thing sitting right in front of you, and having to wait until you can leap head first into it. In my experience though, there are some things that are well worth that wait, and even bring more enjoyment because of the anticipation.

Waiting to see santa
One of many firsts. So many brand new things that first year. I am so blessed to be part of this one, Avery. Thank You

just taking a rest
We go in so many directions sometimes that it just makes sense to stop, lean against a frog, and rest. Then we can keep on playing.

Back when I was your age.
The other day, Emma was circling all her must haves in the plethora of Christmas toy catalogs that inundate us at this time of year. She turned to the Barbie page(yuck) and there were a number of shiny, pink, plastic cars just waiting to be purchased to take barbie to the place of your choice. I didn't say anything but I thought to myself, I remember when I had my first barbie and she drove to the place of my chioce in my dads shoe. Yes his shoe, those were our Barbie cars back then. What imagination we had, envisioning our action figures propelling down the avenue in a little red sports car or a big, brown sedan, and bonus was when the shoe came with a shoe box, bingo we had a garage. Where does the imagination come in when you now plop the dolls into an already souped up pink, plastic corvette with a convertable top, lights that work and buttons and gizmos galore? I'm just asking. Ok so after a while Barbies legs started smelling a little funky, and my Dad yelled because he was missing his shoes, but we had fun and imagined.
